i need a program similar to (Advanced Port Scanner)[login to view URL] that can scan a list of ip ranges the (Advanced Port Scanner) have this option but the program hangs up and do not work if you load over 10-20 ip ranges so i need to make my own ip/port scanner that have this options 1) load ip ranges from file 2) select port/ports to scan 3)save the results automatically to a text file while its working 4) able to select number of theards 5)able to select ip/port ping time out and over all that the program have to be fast or a bit slower than the advanced port scanner) but not to much slower

It can be done in a professional way. Would be built upon C/C++ as a stand alone executable. Multithreaded application and you can assign max number of threads to be used for scanning the ports. Interresting job for me.

If it were with text interface, without GUI (reading adresses from a file and writing results to another file), I could make it pretty easily and cheap, I know this networking stuff. If you need Windows GUI, ask someone else.

I will use Java for the project. I will write a console based program, which IMPO is better than GUI for your requirements. If GUI is also needed, I can also provide GUI.
