Building part of a C++ project

ActiveMQ is an Open Source Messaging server. For this server, there is a C++ client that supports many protocols. One of the supported protocols are called STOMP. I want remove all other code and just build the client with STOMP support. I also want to remove the OpenSSL support. Some of this can be done using configuration options. But, some of it you need to delete the code and make changes. I also require the complete document on what changes were made and how to build it on my own. If you remove all unwanted stuff, it should be in kbs.
