The project consists of using an Arduino Uno to record and play audio in loop, using 1 button, a microphone and a speaker. Once the sound is recorded, the Arduino needs to automatically start playing this sound in loop. A momentary push-button is used to start recording the sound. As long as the push-button is pushed, audio is being recorded. Once the button is released, the audio needs to start playing in loop, until the next sound is being recorded etc. So, if the momentary push-button is pushed again, a new piece of audio will be recorded. This will overwrite the previous one so the newly recorded audio will start playing in loop. When this is done, the newly recorded audio becomes the new loop and the previous sound can be overwritten/deleted. In resumé: 1. Record audio while momentary push-button is being pushed 2. Recorded audio is played in loop 3. New audio is recorded 4. Newly recorded audio is played back in loop. The audio recorded in '1.' can be deleted/overwritten Hardware at hand: - Arduino Uno - 1 momentary off-(on) button - microphone - speaker For more information leave your Skype ID.

Hi, This project could be done using ADC to read sound from microphone module, and using timer to sampling audio signal and store it to internal RAM. but it can't be recorded a long audio interval. It would be better if we use SD card. but it's ok if we just use this to record a couple of second only. let's discuss the detail over chat. Hi there, I'd like to do your project, just a few things to clarify beforehand; How long should the recording be? There's only a limited amount of memory in UNO. Therefore, you might want to use external memory if you are planning to record longer audio clips. How good should the audio quality be? Will the default ADC bitrate be enough, and what is the sampling rate your are planning to use? Will built in PWM be able to deliver the quality required? Please let me know if you are planning to go ahead with the project so that I can let you know beforehand if hardware at hand will be enough to meet your expectations. Thanks & Regards!
