Refactor MS Office add-on written in old VB6 to new technology -- 2

We have old and very simple add-on (VB6) for saving documents ( 1) as new version or 2) as a new document) to electronic records and document management system (ERDMS). This add-on is not compatible with 64bit office. Add-on is not communicating directly with ERDMS but is using another desktop application which automates office and mediates requests. Your job is to bring exactly the same functionality to modern world - ribbon, 64bit office etc, at the same time preserving compatibility with old MS Office versions. Job can be done using Add-In-Express - licence for this task will be provided by me. Also I will provide access to this mediating application and to ERDMS interface for testing purposes. Current files are uploaded, Google Translate can help with string translation.
