Hi, This can be implemented using several languages like C#, java or even php script. I believe you are looking for a image histogram code where you want to see distribution of colors. Either by giving specific color and finding number of occurrences of that color. If your final product/application is web based, then php coding is better as it can directly talk to web server. My proposal is a windows desktop application written in C# .Net 4.5. The application will include the following features: 1) A button to choose the image file for analysis. As a minimum, PNG will be supported but other image formats may be supported too. 2) The set of colours to scan for. These will be presented in a table form with controls to edit, add, and delete colours. To add or edit a colour, either the hex or RGB value can be typed in. 3) For all selected colours, both the RGB and hex value will be shown in the table, regardless of which was entered 4) The colour selections will be saved when the application is closed. 5) A button to analyse the selected image. When this is pressed, the application will scan the image and show the pixel count of each selected colour. The counts will be displayed as a column in the table of selected colours. I am new to freelancer.com.au, although I am a very experienced .Net Developer, and the quality of my work is excellent.
