I would be glad to help you in designing of the box you mentioned. You can check my portfolio there is a remote controller that I developed. It has a Sheetmetal elements that was cut with laser cnc-machine and bended by the bending machine. All plastic parts I printed with 3D printer Creality Ender-3. This box include servo-motors controlled by the RaspberryPi board. After all it was assembled using self-tapping screws. Seems quite close to your project.
