Social Media Co-ordinator/Specialist -Australian based, requires some office based work in Brisbane

Part time or contract role to manage the Social media function of a leading Australian Association General Attributes, Prerequisite Skills and Criteria: 1. Previous experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role 2. Formal social media qualifications 3. Proven track record as a social media strategist to increase brand awareness and positive impressions 4. Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram and other social media platforms with an emphasis on best practice 5. Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics 6. Experience undertaking audience research and reports 7. Good understanding of social media KPI’s 8. Familiarity with web design and publishing 9. Great interpersonal and communication skills Role and Responsibilities: 1. Develop a detailed social media strategy for the board to consider within three months 2. Define the most important social media KPI’s for the organisation 3. Implement and manage the organisations social media strategy and content 4. Measure the success of social media campaigns 5. Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimisation 6. Create content and work with copywriters and designers (internal and external) to ensure content is informative and appealing 7. Collaborate with the Board marketing, sales and membership development teams 8. Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies 9. Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network 10. Provide constructive feedback reports
