Ab Initio Trainer

• The Incumbent moves data from the operational & external environments to the business intelligence environment using Ab Initio software. • Develop/Extract design of a new job with Abinitio, UNIX and MySQL and Oracle databases. • Responsible for verifying and implementing the detailed technical design solution to the problem as identified by the Project/Technical Manager. • Often responsible for providing a detailed technical design for enterprise solutions. Is often the Principal Consultant who analyzes and develops enterprise technology • Collects and determines data from appropriate sources to assist in determining team needs and requirements. • Responds to requests for technical information from customers and also from the team. Develops customer technology solutions using various industry products and technologies. • Engages in technical problem • Able to communicate with internal and external senior management confidently and demonstrate the professionalism of the job family. • Able to independently complete solution implementation or application design deliverables. • Able to manage a team of consultants in the completion of one or more solution requirements, architecture, or implementation deliverable. • Bachelor's degree in business related discipline or equivalent work/training preferred • ETL Tools: 2 to 3 years with Ab Initio (GDE, EME, Co>Ops, Ops Console) • Unix experience: 3+ years • Database: preferably DB2 or Oracle experience but any RDBMS experience could suffice • Unix/Linux Shell scripting. Batch file processing • XML and Java Development experience desirable • Core financial industry knowledge as pertains to data relationships a plus • Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
