Data brings us together

We have a small company that focuses on thematic research and investments using artificial intelligence and human experience to build portfolios for the investments of a few families that we look after. There are two things that we’ve been thinking about that we’d love some help with: 1) Helping us, and our clients, understand how financial markets around the world are moving. For example, their price, volume, and how they’re influenced by each other (the correlation between them). 2) We have a very modern style of company with 14 of us spread across 7 countries, and our families take a combined 20 individuals to more than 10 countries. This is partially driven by the pandemic, partially by changes in countries we operate, and is also partially by design and our desire to be a modern progressive company. The geographic dispersal has some challenges where we think art can be used to bring the team (and clients). We love our brand, we love what we are doing, and to help us get to where we are going, we would like to create an artistic interpretation(s) of global financial market movements through measuring and showing the movement and progression of each individual company in the market. We believe that in the data something almost mesmerising and beautiful is created from the chaos, and that it tells a story and evokes an emotional response. This could be live using the processing power we have available, or static digital art that updates at set intervals. We would use these visuals in our client portal, employee portal, and on a dedicated website as ongoing freely available artwork.
