Engineer must be good at deployment of systems with users and floor walk to support them. Build Engineer To receive and unpack boxes for the new devices To add the new device to the network port To Build the device to the standard Windows 10 Meggitt build following the agreed documented process Potentially to add User ID labels to each device Ensure User ID and serial numbers are captured To complete an agreed checklist to ensure quality of build To rebox and label for onward distribution to Meggitt site To keep up to date records for each model built, for whom and for which sites The process should allow the engineer not to require domain or local admin Deployment Engineer: To attend agreed Meggitt site between hours 9am and 5pm To migrate at least 10 devices per day per Juriba Schedule For laptops: Understand Juriba Schedule who will attend site each day To unbox each device and get it ready for Meggitt user To connect new device to users old device using specialised USB Cable To run PCmover via SCCM to copy across additional apps/ data and configuration To complete an agreed checklist to ensure quality of upgrade Any issues to follow agreed process to handover to support To put aside old device for decommission The process should allow the engineer not to require domain or local admin For Desktops: Understand Juriba Schedule on what Desktops need to be done To unbox each new device and get it ready for replacing current desktop To connect new device to old device using specialised USB Cable To run PCmover via SCCM to copy across additional apps/ data and configuration To complete an agreed checklist to ensure quality of upgrade Any issues to follow agreed process to handover to support To put aside old device for decommission The process should allow the engineer not to require domain or local admin To follow decommsion process before finishing at site each day Floorwalker Engineer: To attend agreed Meggitt site between hours 9am and 5pm To assist the user if required once deployment has completed To assist other users who previously were migrated. These could be simple Windows 10, printer, Drive mapping or application queries Any issues to follow agreed process to handover to support The process should allow the engineer not to require domain or local admin
