I need help to train me in using .NET, specifically Visual Studio 2017, and VBA.NET. Do you have good MS Access and VBA skills? Can you coach/train me to do everything that you did in MS Access, and how to do all that in .NET, using [login to view URL] Then, I need your help! I have several Access databases to convert into .NET. My knowledge of .NET is almost zero, and I must get up to speed quick. My expertise is MS Access, and Visual Basic Applications (VBA). I must learn how to do everything in .NET that I have been able to do in Access. I do not want C#, or any other language subset, as my learning curve is too steep, that is, for now. Pretty much, I only want to create desktop applications, just like the Access databases they came from. The tutorials on Microsoft, and the internet are frustrating, and leading me nowhere, fast. I work full-time during the day, here in Utah, U.S. I will be online in the evenings (7pm - 11pm). No problem if you live in a different country, I just need you to tell me what to do. Instruct me on how you would convert your MS Access database into Visual Studio 2017. How you do that is up to you, if you have YouTube links that are accurate for my setup, then do the exercises myself, that's fine. If you want to send me your own written tutorials, that's fine! We will communicate by messaging using Freelancer, to stay within their terms of service. This initial bid is for us to get to know each other, I ask you to bid low for this first time, and we'll adjust if we can work together. I expect you to have read my introduction, above, thoroughly so as to not waste either of our time. Please make the first line in your bid "Access-dot-Net", letting me know you have the necessary knowledge and skills. If we can communicate well with each other, I will definitely ask you for additional hours. Perhaps even ask you to work on difficult modules in my conversion efforts. We'll see.

Access-dot-Net Hi, I'm a VB programmer for over 20 years from VB 1.0 to VB .Net 2015 (I have not use 2017 yet). Many of the programs I did use access as a back-end database. I also created many programs directly with Access using VBA macros. If you look at my portfolio you will see a project I did with Freelancer (Legacy software conversion from VB6 to VB .net 2015). You can also see their comments about my work. If you look farther in the comments you will see a comment on a project I did with Access (Create Access Front End Interface). And a last one, this is a link to a description of a project I did with Access ([login to view URL]). I'm also a part-time teacher for AutoCAD, Revit, Autolisp and some time for VBA an VB .Net. The only concern is I'm not perfectly fluent in English. My native language is French but I think, I'm able to teach you what you want. First I will introduce you to three-tier application and classes. This is an Object Orienting Programming (OOP). The first tier is the forms, the second tier is the business objects classes and the third tier is the database layer classes. I can be available almost every weekly morning from 9:00 to 12:00 (EDT Time) or if you prefer from 7:00 to 10:00 (MDT Time). Thank you and have a good day. André

Access-dot-Net First thing you should know that Windows Form on VB.NET is a different platform, so you cant do just copy/paste the forms from Access to VB.NET Form, you must rebuild piece by piece of form controls. The good news, you could just copy/paste any code within forms, classes, and modules between both platforms with very minimal manual corrections. The modules offer very minimal conversion, the forms events need manual bound on every control, and the classes require most conversion as you need rebuild the properties, methods, etc. Thats all BTW, I am OK for working at US Time Zone, as some of my clients were from US. So, let me know in which US time zone you prefer for us to meet.

Access-dot-Net Dear sir. Nice to see you. I am an expert. I have ever done converting access db to Mssql. If you are OK, i can show you that. Converting from access to MsSQL is very simple. First, in MsSQL db creating is needed. And then, import access file. That's it. Later, you can use this db on your .Net Project. If you have some other problems, let me know. Thank you.

"Access-dot-Net" I have a good experience with vb.net and already designed programs I read your description What you are asking is not difficult because you already have a background I am from years I was in the same situation as an Access programmer and wanted to go to Visual Basic I also looked for someone to help me with that So I know what you want Programming is a way of thinking If you learned it You can work in any programming language in the world I think I can achieve your goals And Your goal will only be achieved by actual practice We can make a project together But the theoretical explanation will not work
