I have edited the content of two long training manuals (including a complicated table of contents) and multiple short reports and papers. I would begin work on your ebooks by first reviewing the content to determine your style and voice, so that I can maintain these attributes while editing. I would also review the current state of the content, i.e. what areas need the most attention. I will add comments to ask you questions and make you clarify. I will have a set of content notes in TXT format that will critique plot, story line, characters, and make general and specific comments about your writing and how to improve it. I am able to provide past work and references, if you'd like. When I edit, I not only proofread the book, but I also provide the author with content notes that discuss suggested changes in regard to characters, plot, themes, story lines, and such. I hold two master's degrees and am an experienced editor. I have written three peer reviewed books, the latest to be published in June, and many other publications, all of which I proofread extensively before sending for publication. Hi Upsidemarketing, I am a very thorough person who does not leave room for unnecessary mistakes. My first step at proofreading your 30-page e-book is to print them out first as reading on the screen can give eyestrain. I relax over some cups of orange juice and begin the reading which, of course, sets me in the mood of reading. When I am through, any necessary correction will sure be made on the paper and later made on the original work on my pc. Same applies to the other pages. As you can imagine, most of my time is spent researching, writing, and editing, and I am both skilled and experienced enough that even my professors ask for my help with editing their own professional papers. I can do this project quickly, efficiently, and accurately, giving you the results you need at the price you want. As for how I would approach this project, first I would read through the two smaller ebooks, then the longer one, without making anything but spelling corrections initially. I want to have an idea what you're saying before I start making stylistic changes. Once I've got a good grasp on the material, I'll go back through and very carefully re-read everything, looking first for spelling or grammar errors, then for stylistic problems that I can fix. I do most of my editing using Word's comments and review feature so that you can see what I've changed or suggested changing, but if you'd prefer, I could just go ahead and make the corrections in the original copy. Once the content has been polished and I know everything is in the right order, I'll go about making the table of contents.

You have one ebook 35 pages long and one approximately 15 pages long. I write my own ebooks as well in Microsoft Word. I am a U.S. citizen with a great command of the English language. I can add some quality enhancements to your ebooks to make them look professional. Adding a table of contents, footer, etc. will not be a problem. If there is not a graphic for the title page, we can add that as well. I sell my ebooks on a site set up under the "plr" umbrella. Don't know if you have this, but I can help you set that up as well (separate cost for that).

Probably the most effective way to finish this job is to open up the smaller documents first. I can probably read over both of them, have the necessary corrections made, and a TOC developed for them before lunch, if they're only 15 pages each, and of course the time estimate could vary based on the technical difficulty of the subject matter. By the time I've blasted through those two, I will be familiar with your structure and writing style well enough to finish the work before 5 p.m. If I can start early enough, I may be able to get your books ready for you on the same day, but I should at least have them back in your inbox by the following morning. I'm curious to know about the subject matter though. Technical writing or instruction manuals will slow me down a bit, since I'll need to cross-reference your facts and terminology to make sure the book is accurate, but if all I'm fixing is grammar and spelling, I could wrap that up in a day or less with no problem.
