Creative and forward-thinking Instructional Designer needed for new Teaching, Learning and Technology Center. Must have experience with Blackboard. Core responsibility is to develop instructor facilitated online and hybrid K12 courses, blended or flipped classrooms and self-paced online courses using learning management systems and other resources. The Instructional Designer will: Manage integration of technology into curriculums based on learning theory and best practices. Design systems for daily face to face instructional using cutting edge technology Develop and review online/hybrid courses using a quality assurance rubric Design and facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers Development online learning initiatives Design systems for quality assurance and evaluation of projects and other related initiatives. Additional Duties: Design and develop electronic instructional materials including simulations, digital stories, and various other multimedia projects Research emerging trends in educational technology and support their implementation Qualifications: Experience developing blended, hybrid or online courses Master’s Degree in Instructional Design or related field
