logo rebranding

We are pleased to announce that we are accepting bids on a rebranding project. Specifically, we are looking for a new corporate logo which is consistent with the colour scheme we are already using. Project deliverables are: An image of roughly the same dimensions as the one we are using currently (to avoid website redesign). The image will be appearing on a white background on-line, and we might like to invert the colours on our business cards. The design should lend well to both mediums. Output in several popular formats (jpg, gif, png), varying resolutions as well as a copy of the original (editable) layered photoshop (or equivalent) source file. Full rights and ownership of the logo. The only rights the author would retain would be to include it in a portfolio of client work. We have an assignment of ownership form which needs to be signed. A word mark below the image which can be changed to reflect different names; we are doing business in 17 cities and the logo will appear on 17 related websites. As a clarification, we are only looking for one base image, please do not quote on supplying 17. At the end of the design stage we would like to have five drafts to select from, as well as the right to request revisions and tweaks. The image must capture the tastes of the business owner as well appeal to a young, diverse international audience. ---------- A short-list of candidates will be shown our existing logo as well as given more detailed specifics to help direct the design process. We will also include a list of what we like and do not like about our existing branding. Only candidates with an existing portfolio of high quality images will be consideredfor this project.
