Assignment: use the Information Provided (further described below) in the excel spreadsheet to then research the internet to find the business website and then add business website address, business name, business contact email, business telephone, business Instagram, career hiring email and enter into the excel sheet shaded yellow (rows L, m, n. o. p q,r,s). There is also a column for you to put in notes about the search “researcher notes”. All of the info to add is highlighted in yellow. The most important piece of info that we are looking for is the Business Email address followed by the phone number. Confirmed Business Website Address: determined from research Confirm Business Name: From research Confirmed Business Contact Email: The CONFIRMED Business Contact Email that we are looking for will in most cases is different than the “contact email” address which is provided in the spreadsheet. Email Address guess: If after an exhaustive search, no email is found, it is ok to make a guess on the email by using info@-----------/ The ----- part of the email would need based on logic of seeing another email for the business. Confirmed Business Telephone: hopefully on website or see google maps with the provided address or see Yelp or weedmaps with name of biz or address. Confirmed Business: Same as above Instagram address: Type name of business and Instagram if not on the business website Careers or Hiring Email: this one is found in the career page or section of the website. Researcher Notes\Notes Information Provided: The excel sheet provided will contain the following information in the attached where each row has info related to a specific business. The info provided in each row is Business Name, DBA, STREET, CITY, ZIP, STATE, Email, Phone, Website. NOTE: The email provided will generally not be the email that the business uses. NOTE 1: the most important piece of info that we are looking for is the Business Email address followed by the phone number. Note 2: The CONFIRMED Business Contact Email that we are looking for will in most cases is different than the Business Email address. If DBA info is provided, then copy the DBA name and address into a google search and look for the business website. If DBA no provided, then copy the provided biz name and address into a google search and look for the business website. If business website is found, fill in the information requested that is shaded in yellow. 3. While on the business website, once in the website, if there is no apparent business email, check for social buttons (email which might be next to facebook button) 4. If no business website is found Copy the provided email into a google search to see if there is a website. 5. If no business website is found Look at Yelp, Weedmaps, or another source to confirm as much info as possible.
