I would love to help you with this project. I could make a Java program with a cartoony interface showing the car movement, or just schematics (lines and circles) if you would prefer that. I can create a small city map and the cars can move on the roads following traffic rules. I could also add some buildings so that the cars move between them instead of at random. I guarantee good clean commented code.
