We created for our document sharing platform a Java applet for client-side uploading and opening of documents. We need that to be rewritten to a NPAPI plugin in C++ using the FireBreath tools ([login to view URL]). When there are better methods, we are happy to hear that. The plugin should run on Windows and mac and have full access to the file system to be able to upload, download, open and sync files clientside. The plugin should run on Chrome, Firefox, Safari and IE.
Our applet hase these functions:
- upload files
- upload folders
- download files
- open files and sync changes
- create netuse share (Win) or create webdavmount (mac)
The communication with our server is done with JSON.
The Java code is available as download in this request (see below).
The applet is fully tested and has all the functionality we need. This meens that the work is essentialy a translation job from Java to C++.
Please contact us if you have any questions. We think the project can be done in 5 to 10 days, let us know what you think.
Cheers,
