The EYESEP project is essentially a 3 part tool to view Host Computer activity from a remote computer or from the Host Computer itself (at a later date). Part 1: EY: Host activity monitoring, logging, screen capture and transfer of captured data to Server. Windows platform (XP to Win7). The requirement is to identify, package and configure existing freely available components to produce a solution. Original development is not required in Part 1 as there is no UI or GUI. Emphasis is on 'tried-and-tested'. The EY solution will process frames captured from the Host Framebuffer and transfer the processed and encrypted images along with an event log and an encrypted key stroke log to the company server. The EY solution will transfer all data to the Server via a Web Service (XML, XML attachments + Java). Transferred data to/from the Host is XML (or XML attachment) and will use the Host internet connection. All captured/sent Screenshots and Key Stroke Data must be encrypted on the host. Part 2: ES: Server that stores User configuration data and captured data sent from EY. Data and configuration is managed by EP User (or the ES Administrator). Part 3: EP: Remote Web Browser Plug-in (Firefox, Chrome, I.E, Opera). EP will receive data sent from ES and display the data to the User. Function for User to view captured screenshots, Host Activity Log and Key Stroke data on demand. Function for User to manage captured data and manage configuration settings for EY, ES and EP. The project will require skills in application and script configuration, applications that run as a Web Service (XML, Java, SOAP), developing cross web browser 'Plug-ins', encryption, XML encryption, server side configuration.
