About out Company: Thirdware is a 20+ years old IT-Services company with ISO 9001, 27001 and 20001 certifications and is headquartered in Mumbai and have a development center in Chennai and presence in North America and Europe. Thirdware is an ERP company primarily on the QAD space and started QAD practice back in 1995 as the implementation partner. Besides QAD Thirdware also have SAP, PeopleSoft and Oracle applications practice. Thirdware is into Hyperion practice since 2000 and started application practice in 2005(Java, Mainframes, .Net, PL/SQL) and also have a strong expertise in the space of BI/DW (Datastage, Informatica, Business Objects). Project Description: The DW Analyst will work on migration of a legacy data repository, currently providing data to a number of consumer applicaitons, into the data warehouse and ensure that applications using the legacy data repository are not affected, i.e. continue to work once pointed to the new data structures in the Data Warehouse. Furthermore, he/she will modify existing ETL jobs done in Talend, which extract and load data from external data sources into the current data repository and ensure that the same data is loaded into the data warehouse. Finally, he/she will work on modification of data services developed in JAVA, repointing them to the new data repository, ensuring that applications consuming those services continue to work. Skills Required: • Minimum of 5 years in professional experience with Oracle relational database technologies; • Excellent knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL; • Knowledge of JAVA; • Working experience with Talend ETL tools; • Knowledge in preparing technical documentation and deployment specifications; • Excellent English (written and spoken) language skills with the ability to express complex technical matters: level C;
