Firstly, have u heard about deviation detection in text If yes, here is what I need. I need to enhance an algorithm called sequential exception technique tailoring it towards detecting deviants in textual datasets. Textual datasets like NIPs and Enron Sequential exception technique consists of three functions namely; dissimilarity function, smoothing and cardinality function. These functions help in detecting outliers in datasets. Datasets like log files However i wish to enhance this technique to detect semantic based anomaly in textual datasets by incorporating other techniques like LSA and WSD I will forward u a ppt and a word document for clearer undersatnding of the proposed project then we can discuss about deadlines and budget
