Enhance jquery functionality

This task consist of the following: I have a registration form which works. A user can select his own username and get advice on password strength but I also need the other form fields to be validated before submitting the form to the processing page. Things that need to be done: Create/use/enhance javascript/jquery functionality and : Make sure the gender is selected from a drop Make sure a firstname is entered at least 2 characters Make sure a lastname is entered at least 2 characters Make sure a username is entered Make sure date of birth has been selected from dropdown values Makes sure a valid email has been entered Make sure a country has been selected from dropdown Make sure the last checkbox has been checked In general all fields and checkboxes have to be entered. If this is not the case return message to user and put the field in context so user knows what to do. If all is true then the form can be submitted. The processing page returns "Thank you!" Don't bid more than $20. I need this in 1 day.
