I am looking for a skilled professional to help me migrate 100-500 php/mysql-websites (no mail or other things) currently on WHM/Cpanel hosting accounts into cloud instances. I am not sure if we should set this up as a Kubernetes cluster or if we should have one Hetzner cloud instance per website/mysql. Please advice on what we should do, or possibly if you think both options have upsides and downsides, please let us choose one of them based on the expert knowledge your share about both options. Current Hosting Environment: - WHM/Cpanel with root access What we want: - All sites in an internal network behind two or more reverse proxy servers that also terminates SSL. - A economic setup utilizing cloud instances on a good way. - Segregation between the sites, so that if one has massive traffic, it will not take down other sites (like a shared hosting would do) - A "controller" of some kind where we can duplicate sites as well as managing things like: - what domain points to what instance - scaling up resources for instances - monitoring health - Create new sites based on an image that we have. - Automatic ssl-certificates for all sites (using lets encrypt certbot) This is a job both consisting of setting up the infrastructure (with ingress-servers, internal network, controller server) and the actual migration from the current infrastructure (whm) to the new. Preferred Cloud Provider: - Hetzner Cloud Skills and Experience: - Experience with WHM/Cpanel migration and management - Proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud instance management - Familiarity with Hetzner Cloud or similar providers Please provide your expertise in migrating and managing WHM/Cpanel hosting accounts into cloud instances (possibly using Kubernetes). We want to have a one-time-offer on setting this up, but also if you would like to offer a ongoing management service also, we are open to that.
