We're looking for an experienced and highly qualified SWIFT (iOS & Mac) developer to work on our desktop app development for Mac and iOS. Main Qualifications: - Computer science or equivalent degree - Deep knowledge and several years of SWIFT and ObjectiveC hands on development, plain C knowledge also +. - Capable of handling all aspects of developing state of the art SWIFT Application - Object Oriented and common design patterns - Deep knowledge of Multithreading and Async Tasks - Experience with Mac services/helpers/daemons development - Networking - IP & TCP/UDP stack knowledge, Routing table and IPv4/IPv6 knowledge, DNS configuration - VPN packets encapsulation & routing understanding - Experience in OS X/iOS sockets programming - UI / UX orientation with a "sub-pixel" attention to details. - Problem solver - Being independent - Looking for a long term relationships

Hello I am a macOS and iOS system engineer. I've worked very deeply with network programming, on all levels (high level CFSocket/NSURLConnection), unix sockets, kernel drivers. Configured both application firewalls (alf) and bsd's ipfw. Created packet filters (libpcap, network kernel extensions and, even though it's not related to your project - windows filtering platform and TDI). One of the relevant projects I built was a Parental Control system, which involved intercepting and analyzing network packets (at the kernel level), extracting requested URLs from HTTP requests and redirecting/dropping such requests. Please take a look at my portfolio here on freelancer for details. Could you describe what kind of software are you building? From the listed requirements I suppose it is a VPN client or related?
