I have more than 15 years’ experience in sourcing profession with multiple American and European multinational. I am an MBA, and a CPSM holder - Certified Professional in Supplier Management
I am a native Chinese resident in China and speak perfect English.
Now I am a freelancer helping many small businesses worldwide with their global sourcing projects to achieve improved cost, quality and the entire supply chain efficiencies.
Here below is what I have been doing on a daily basis during my 15-year career:
- Searching, visiting suppliers and conducting supplier audits, independently or together with my counterparts from the head office when required.
- Cost analysis and negotiation, and contracting.
- See through sample process from order placement, through in-process technical/quality communications, to final inspection and approval of samples.
- Following up mass production and monitoring supplier performances on Quality, Cost, Delivery and Services.
- Dealing with non-conformances and identify corrective and preventive actions with the suppliers.
- Global logistics arrangement – import/export, customs clearance.
- Coordinating and facilitating global supply chain transfer from Europe/America to China
For commodities, I have experiences in various mechanical products/components, as well as fashion Jewelries and textile.
I work with a wide range of good quality and low-cost suppliers in China.
