It just requires the configuration of your current 365 tenant to include your new domain and to have the internal resources - email addresses etc. configured to use your new domain. This requires 3rd party app called code two using which we can migrate entire contents provided there is bo corruption in the mailvoxand the migration path is well planned. If you are only changing the domain within the same O365 account then there's no issue and it can be done quick and easily without any risk of losing data.
