SQL Server Performance Tuning

Hi I have been working with MSSQL for over 17 years. I am fully experienced as a developer and a DBA. Currently I am working at big financial organization in which I am responsible for the BI department. I have designed and the Developed the Organization’s Reporting Database which has been constructed with SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition. The database is being updated daily from the core system with txt or excel files via SSIS or with direct connection at mainframe’s DB2 and a numerous of KPIS are being daily updated during the ETL. For isolation reasons the KPIS are replicated to another DB (with transactional replication) which exploits dashboards via Power BI and reports via SSRS to the consumers. Some KPIS are being replicated with merged (bidirectional) replication. Also, 10 Cubes in SSAS are being daily automatically processed and the end of the ETL. Several other reports are daily automatically produced and sent via email to the recipients. Finally I have designed and developed the bank’s crm DB which is published on the intranet. The DB holds full information about the customers (Customers,Addresses , Financial Data , Contacts , campaigns , etc) and covers 4 countries. To achieve this i have made partitions over the country code. The size of the Reporting DB, is about 4TB and consists of about 4.000 objects and the replicated KPI DB is 350GB. Best Regards mpalgeo

Hi Sir, I have worked on live bank application to tune database. I have reduced time from 3 minutes to 15 seconds. I can work with this project. I know indexing and I can rewrite SQL queries for best parformance. we can discuss further on this. thanks..

I am SQL Server developer with good performance tuning skills. Working for a client speciallly on performance tuning of DB objects in terms of duration, reads, writes and CPU. I have 2+ years of performance tuning experience of different objets as well as web page performance improvement. I am very familiar with sql profiler and event handlers which can be useful for getting long running db objects in a page and DB. Good at understanding the project domain and can able to deliver efficient work in less time. Worked on improving DB objects and pages and improved them with almost 90+% improvement in terms of Duration, reads, writes and CPU. Have good analytical skills and programming skills can able to solve performance issue in many ways.

Dear Hiring Manager, I'm an expert in sql server optimization working in it since it's version 6.x. I have tuned many databases. Most of the time index and query tuning solves the problem.
