I need a tourist guide application for Android. User will search through database of important places of my country and will be able to find closest places via GPS, or via map. It will have simple graphics. See an example of similar application: [login to view URL] Example is about restaurants, but the design and usage is pretty close to my needs. A few tabs: first tab with complete listing and filters, second tab with favourites, third tab with closest restaurants/places accessible via map or list. Every place will have its name, text, photo(s), type, GPS coordinates and region. The application must have ability for simple updates from our MySQL database, which is maintained daily - updates of app will be for example monthly.
