Recover Whatsapp Messages From Months Ago

Hello. I need some important messages to be recovered from my Android, from about Nov 2014- May 2015. I need messages from a specific contact, not all. I have tried various software, but to no luck. I believe the phone was flashed during this period and the messages would be on the phone's storage (my phone was never able to read from my memory card), so please keep that in mind.
