Possible reasons. 1. The 2nd router may not be compatible with the new broadband provider's network or settings, resulting in a disruption of connectivity. 2. The settings on the 2nd router might not be properly configured to work in conjunction with the new broadband provider's network. This could lead to issues with establishing a connection. 3. The new broadband provider may assign IP addresses differently, causing a conflict between the main and 2nd routers. This conflict can prevent the 2nd router from functioning correctly.
