Hello, Can I surmise you will want a certification-ready device, running off line voltage, Class-II? Powering Halogen lights is very difficult due to the inrush, and dimming them can vastly decreases their lifetime if done below a certain level. The circuitry would have to be a slope-limited constant current device, and be over-designed to handle the high current of Halogen lamps and also the high-voltage of LEDs (of course, that will depend on the power of the lamps you want to control). The Z-wave is a single-vendor supplier system, and the Halow is just now coming into the specifications. There are many, very low-cost WiFi and BlueTooth solutions (such as ESP8266/32 and the Nordic familiy) that have a large support both in the App department and platform development. The other thing to consider is the production volume expected and application. If this is for mass production you will have to undergo cerifcation at the pre-production stage, both EMC and CE. The offer includes 2 fully assembled tested boards, programmed and documented. I will handle any (if required) outsourcing for programming the wireless protocol, and a simple app for testing the wireless. I have experience on digital electronics for 15 years and analog electronics for 25 years.. (power, radio, tv, player, etc) Including microprocessor programming on assembly language (GSM to PSTN Gateway firmware + hardware) and desktop application with visual basic or vb.net to use UI... I can understand C++ and write also .. i have experience on Arduino UNO with AT Mega 328.. So if i get a chance to work with this project it will be a very challenging job for me to make the device perfect to work ...
