Script to search Hampton hotel website for available rooms.

I need a script that will alert me when room(s) are available at a specified Hampton hotel. The script should allow me to set certain variables, set the script to run on a cron, and will email me when a room matching those variable is available. Website: [login to view URL] Variables I need to set: 1) specific hotel 2) arrival and departure dates, 3) any room available -or- a specific room type options for room types available: 1 king bed 2 double beds Guest rooms Suites Accessible rooms non-smoking smoking One thing I need to point out is that the 'Narrow your results' options on the website do Not always filter correctly. For example, if you do a search far in the future so you get a full list of all room types it will include, "1 KING MOBILITY ACCESS TUB SUITE" and "1 KING BED 1 BEDROOM SUITE". if you then you uncheck 'Guest rooms' so just 'Suite' is checked, the list shrinks to just "1 KING MOBILITY ACCESS TUB SUITE", and "1 KING BED 1 BEDROOM SUITE" disappears from the list. Since if I choose suite in the script it is important I am alerted when Any suite is available, this is important. This leads me to think the effective way to accomplish this is to have the script do a full search and then read the full search return page for the room type keywords. My assumtion may be incorrect, I just wanted to be sure to point out the issue with relying on the 'Suite' option on the page to show all the available suites. No gui is required. This just needs to be a script that can run from the command line or via cron. I can edit the variables in the script. The variables do not need to be human readable, meaning if the site uses codes to signify hotel locations and room types I can use those provided they are given to me. I prefer Perl, but am willing to discuss other options provided there is a good coding reason.
