CS-CART - FILTERS SEARCH MENU - UPGRADE / DEVELOPMENT

Now this should be a really really simple task for the right candidate - and the right person should be able to start next week, and if I enjoy working with you - there will be plenty of opportunities to work again with me on the same project, as well as further projects during the summer 2012. Now about the project: This is the modification / improvement / upgrade / whatever you want to call it of the FILTER search available in CS-CART shopping cart. What I need to do is incorporate the filters available in CS-CART and extend its functionality to suit my requirements and do a little modification to its functionality. What this entails is as follows: What I would like is to have a very simple jquery slide menu (with easing to smooth it out) with 3 main categories, ie. "Shop by type of items", "Shop by size of item" and "Shop by designer of item" within which are the options, for example if you were in the "Clothing category", the "Shop by item" would have the option between, "Dresses, Skirts, Blouses..." which when selected would show only the clothing items which are of whichever type was selected. Under the "Shop by size" there would be a "Size 6, Size 8..." set of options which would only show the items within clothing category which are available in this size (and in stock - minimum 1) when selected. Under the "shop by designer" there would be options such as " ISSA, ACNE..." (these are categories on their own and for example where only items by these designers would be shown. Items belong to for example - "clothing", "burburry" and "dresses" so if no size is selected, it will return all dresses made by burburry. and if a size is selected as well, only the burburry dresses which are in whichever size was selected. Obviously the mix and match of the designer, size, and item type should be possible. Now the "Shop by Designer" and "Shop by Type" are already implemented with the current FILTERS and PRODUCT FEATURES available in CS-CART. But what needs to be altered IS that there should be the possibility to have more than one to be selected at any one time. I would also like it to be possible to select more than one from each category, ie. "dresses and skirts" by "ISSA and BURBURRY" in "SIZE 6 and SIZE 8" When an option is selected for, I would like that option to increase in size by 2/3px and change to black with a little cross on the left had side of the text - which when clicked removes the selection of the that particular filter is removed, and the CSS returns to the original dark grey and smaller. Note --> The SIZE needs to be added to the filters as this is not implemented, searching by size will be dependant on the quantity of the item in that particular size, for example - if a dress has a stock level of 2 in Size 6 and Size 12 but a stock level of 0 in Size 8 and Size 10 --> if the user searches for a dress in "Size 8 and Size 10" then this particular dress will not appear as it is not in stock in the sizes searched for.
