Language: Major: Visual Basic, Minor: ASM Experience: Elite, Expert NOTE TO SOFTWARE BUYERS: This project has been posted by one advance programmer to another in search of a satisfactory procedure thats virtualy impossible for any novice programmer to answer, therefor I assure you the winning bidder on this project has surely earned the title of being "Elite" THE OVERVIEW: Im subclassing a directx 8.0 game with an integrated chat system that does not utilize any standard windows API calls for setting text or sending keystrokes. All key strokes sent to the game seem to be scanned straight from the keyboard device driver itself when the client window has focus therefor "SENDKEYS", and "SENDMESSAGE()" cannot be substituted to send keystrokes to this program. MY GOAL: Everything typed and received by this in game chat program is recorded to a chat log everytime its updated. Im building a simple bot that parses the chat log for predefined keywords or phrases... In the event a predefined keyword has been found the bot will reply back to the chat system in a series of keystrokes defined by a (STRING)... MY PROBLEM: I need a way to trick this program into thinking these keys are pressed when it scans the keyboard device... Thanks in Advance, Kenneth Poston
