Hi,
This is potentially a very simple C++ or PHP task.
I want some very efficient and tidy C++ (or PHP) code to convert a string in MATHML to LaTeX, and also the inverse.
It needs to work for the vast majority of LaTeX. As a benchmark, it should work with anything that can be produced by <[login to view URL]>
There are a number of libraries that might server as inspiration, i.e. :
however I don't know how well that works with all forms of LaTeX.
MATHML can be viewed on all browsers, so test cases need to be demonstrated in either:
- FireFox
- or <[login to view URL]>
The code can use opensource libraries, I don't need this built from scratch.
Please mention in your bid you approach.
The solution should be well organised, with code preferable in only a few files.
The solution will be tested thoroughly against about 1M equations, running from LaTeX to MATHML then back to LaTeX to see how the start and end points differ.
Will.
