We want to create a new online newspaper maked by users. We call it GrouPress. [login to view URL] is a new way to re-thinking a newspaper. Starting from the template of a traditional newspaper(our model is the [login to view URL] with Times New Roman font and a traditional newspaper template) the main idea is that all news spaces on the template can be filled by users that can become our journalists and our editorial office. Our users can post new articles and create a sort of " SOCIAL NEWSPAPER". Who decide which articles are present in the Home page more then others? It all depends by 2 principles - More an article is rated more is its ranking - More an articole is new more is its ranking: based on 1 day(so an article is news then another that is from the day before) Based on the sum of these 2 principles articles are showed in the Home page or they are present in the others articles in archive How our registred Journalist can gain money ? During the registration process every Journalist have to give all personal information, a small biography of him, upload a personal picture and add his Adsense Ads Code. This is because we make that in each article page, in the bottom of the page, it ll be showed Adsense ads related to the Adsense code of the Journalist. In this way more the article is intresting, more is read, more click it can have, more Journalist can gain. At Midnight a PDF edition At Midnight, everyday, we ll produce a PDF version of the Newspaper. We have to send an email to all our registred users asking them to if they want to download the new edition of GrouPress. Download request a membership (paying with paypal and credit card) but the first week is for free: After payed he can download the Newspaper (Home page and the pages of each topic with the first 10 high rated articles-full- for each topic) for 10$ x 1 months, 25$ x 3 months, 50$ for 6 months, 100$ for 1 year. With the membership he can also have access to our archive and doing searchs. Advertising We have to think the site Template as a traditional newspaper also regarding the advertising. So you have to place in the template, as in a traditional newspaper, space for show ads. We have to add ADsense codes from the backend Seo Site must be perfectly Seo optimized and registred on Google and Yahoo. Sitemaps… Each article Tags must be related in the Meta of the pages in order to being founded easly by search engines. We are looking for someone that can develop this site. I want to resume some key points of the requirements: Here are the features that you need to include in our website as written in our document. o Our main idea is that news spaces on the template can be filled by users that can become our journalists and our editorial office. o We also require that the FrontPage should be in AJAX o We also need that after signing up the site the user can become a journalist and that he should be able to decide that in which edition he want to publish his article like in UK, USA, ITA or he will be able to create a new one for his country o The user will be given language translation benefit and the admin will be able to delete the unworthy articles from his edition o The user should also know in which category he wants to publish his article such as in Politics, Business, Money, Technology, Sports, Science, Tech and web, Video, Gossip, Art & Entertainment, Opinions, Travel, Life & Style o For all the topics you need RSS feeds o There will be 10 latest articles in the topic area and each article will be showed with its titles and all the other articles will be shown in the archive according to their ranks o For every article, it should have title and sub title along with some text and the name of the Journalist and the time of posting o Images can be added into the article and different templates for the breaking news and sharing, rating and embedding of articles is possible o Based on the ranking of the article and its relativity in the Google Ad Sense the journalists will get paid o For Midnight a PDF edition will be produced and will be sent and email to all the registered users in order to download it. o For Advertising we can use AD Sense codes from backend o Search and Archive are subject to pay a membership as we say before. o The admin area will be able to manage subscriptions, the integration with pay pal, ban users, cancel articles, find users. o Site must be perfectly SEO optimized and registered on Google and Yahoo. o At the bottom of the page you need the following labels like About us, Contact, Advertise, Referral, Open a Local Edition, Partner Help me in being conviced that you ll be the right choise.
