Hello Programmers! I am representing Sidekick Coders. We are a rather new service that provides programming students, mainly in undergraduate computer science and engineering programs, with completed assignments and projects. As our business begins growing, we are looking to expand our coding force! What we are looking for is to keep several reliable developers on file, and continue to offload assignments and projects onto them as the work comes in. If you are selected you should expect to receive anywhere between 1 - 10 assignments & projects a week through freelancer from us; this depends on your availability. Each project is different in size, complexity and time constraint so compensation will be set on a per project basis; ranging anywhere from $20 - $150 for an assignment, to over $500 for a large project. The code you write MUST be simple, efficient and correct. It must be easy enough to understand such that a student trying to learn the solution may do so by simply reading through the code. All code MUST be completely commented to explain all logic, new data structures and algorithms involved in the solution. Specialization in one or more of the following programming languages, tools and areas of development is preferred: * C/C++, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Ruby, Python, PHP, ASP, SQL, Objective C * Data structures, algorithms, web applications, database integration All interested parties can respond with the following information: * Current or most recently completed degree, if currently a student then state your year of study * Rough number of hours available per week * Programming languages you are fluent in It is also important to note that the bids that outline their competitive prices for completing projects will be favoured. I am very proficient in c, c++. I have 15 years c++ developing experience now, and I have worked for 5 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, the lauguage is c++ under linux os. So, programming in c++ is never a problem. I used c++ to make many great projects, for example, I made the tools which can convert java files to c++ with the same meaning, of course garbage collection included. Hello, Currently I am a BS Computer Science Graduate and is working in the field for 2 years now. I have working experience with C programming language for 2 years now and is also knowledgeable with Java since i was a student. Data structures, algorithms, and basics in computer science are my preferred areas of development I estimate that i have about 16-24 hours available per week (Mostly on weekends). Hi employers! This is my first application so I'll try to keep it short. I am Ashish, a second year undergraduate student at BIT Mesra. I'm studying Computer Science here. Personally, I like to write code that helps someone. Being in the third semester now, I have a fair share of experience using C and Java (which we're learning this semester). Apart from that, I have Python as what I call a programming 'mother tongue'. I assure you that I know a good deal of Python, enough for problems that most undergraduates have. I can write clean and understand-able code. Never before I had a chance to apply my skills, and I think this is where I start. Why should you take me? Even though I've no formal qualification in Python, I have passed an introductory C and data structures course at my college. Moreover, I am a new Courserian (I have completed two programming courses there, if you want I'll provide you with a PDF). I have a good experience with working on projects (I made a command line circuit solver in Python in my first semester). How much time can I give to the projects? Being an undergraduate student myself, I do have study priorities and exam pressure, but I think I can devote 2-3 days in a week to the projects you give me, depending on the project. After all, there's a lot of time I waste now that can be put to some good use. Finally, thanks a lot for reading my proposal. If you give me a chance, I assure you I'll not fail you.
