Greetings ScriptLance! My company and I are looking to launch a Tournament and League based website. We feel this project will need to be a custom built content management system written in PHP/MySQL/Java Script/AJAX. This website will be the home where gamers and LAN Center owners sign up to participate in video game tournaments and leagues. The site itself will host events as can any LAN Center that registers to the site. Site Features: User management LAN Center management Tournament management League/Ladder management Payment management News management FAQ management Forum system Support Ticket management Ad management How will it work? Easy. The website will host a video game tournament/league. LAN Centers will then attend and pay for the event online. Once the LAN Center joins, the LAN Centers gamers will pay and participate in the event. During the event, the site will post/update the tournament bracket or league ladder. Once the event is over, the LAN Center will be awarded the prizes. The LAN Center will then hand out the prizes to the gamers that won the event. LAN Centers will also be able to post and host events on our site. LAN Centers will pay a small fee to post a event on the site. The LAN Center will also be able to set it to be a open or private event. The LAN Center will be able to post all the event details on the site. They will also be able to invite other LAN Centers to their event. The Video Games that LAN Centers can host events for will be controlled by the site admin. LAN Centers can also subscribe to get emails on events that are for specific games. Only LAN Centers will be able to sign up to the website. Once a LAN Center submits their info, a admin must approve it. Once a admin approves a LAN Center, that center will get a email saying there account was approved. Once a LAN Centers account is approved, they can start inviting their gamers to the site. The LAN Center will send invites via our sites using the gamers email. Once the email is sent out, the gamer will follow the link in the email and register to the site. Once they register they will be a gamer for the LAN Center that invited them. They will only be able to play in events their LAN Center participates in. You will need to do the research on tournament brackets and league ladders. We will require single elimination bracket, double elimination bracket, round robin tournament bracket all with random round one seeding. The league ladder must be able to be customized so that we can change the point structure per event if needed. We want PayPal Standard Payment Gateway to be the primary payment gateway for all on site payments. All other features are pretty simple. I'll let you put them together the way you want to.
