Joomla: Improve speed of existing website - repost

I have an existing website: [login to view URL] I am very happy with the design and content of the website, however I need it to be lighter and quicker. I am using what I believe is a heavy template (RocketTheme) - while it is visually delivering what I need, I believe that it was designed for much more sophisticated websites, and because I am only using it for a fraction of its capabilities, I don't think it is necessary to continue to use it. I am looking for the winner of this project to rebuild the website in Joomla so that it looks and feels identical to the end user as the current website. I will provide access to the back-end, so that you can reuse the fonts, slideshows, JoomlaXTC Deluxe News module, and any other content if you so wish. The new design must not use the existing RocketTheme template, and all of the stylesheets must be in one single css file rather than the current mutliple LESS files. The winner of the project is free to reuse code, as long as this criteria is met. (I have customised and edited the template, and because I don't have much knowledge of LESS, the changes probably haven't been done well. I can provide the original unedited version of the template to the winning bidder). Some additional information: - The existing homepage slideshow, or something that looks identical, must be reused (and it must be easy for me to update/add content) - The existing JoomlaXTC Deluxe News module (4 boxes on the homepage) or something that looks identical, must be reused (and it must be easy for me to update/add content) - I do not need responsive design - the desktop site can have a fixed layout - I do need to display a different website for mobile - navigate to the current website on a mobile to view. While the mobile view isn't fully functional, the homepage is pretty much ready. I need the flexibility to continue to create mobile-only views for the rest of the site - The look and feel of the website - navigation, fonts, spacing, etc. must all be mantained - It needs to be easy to add additional information and content to the website in the future Currently, on [login to view URL] the load time is about 10 seconds. As part of your submission, please outline how fast you will be able to make the website. The speed that you specify will used as a final gate for the release of the funds. Also need to: - Move the website from a subdomain to the root html directly - Fix a small IE9 bug for the 4 boxes on the homepage (JoomlaXTC Deluxe News Pro) that is duplicating the boxes (one on top of the other)
