Have old Celeron and Pentium machines, ranging from Celeron 366 Mhz to Pentium 3 933 Mhz. All machines have Intel NIC and IDE Disks. Some machines have 3Ware Raid card. Most machines running VGA although still have some monochrome video cards. Keyboards are PS2, not USB. Many of the machines do not even have a USB slot. Don't have any machines with more than 1.5 gig of RAM. No printers attached, no X Windows, these are command line servers. Use CBQ Traffic Shaping on some machines to throttle outgoing bandwidth. Am starting to use OpenVZ, which has some kernel config parameters. Would like to have one config file that works on all machines. Not sure if there are any bad side effects of having a kernel compiled with gadget that is not installed. My request is for you to review attached kernel config file, and make comments and suggestions on how to improve it. In addition, review second document and answer questions I have asked. All answers and suggestions are to be provided in writing. If you want to follow up with 1/2 hour voice session via Skype, I will pay a $10 bonus for that.
