Perl and Python programmer for automation task

I need an experienced Perl or PHP Programmer to write some code for linux to automate processing of text data.? ? The text data comes from a well known internet protocol and comes in a very standard format.? ? Information will be passed to another program (python) that already exists.? ? ? This project requires excellent regex skills and text processing skills.? ? If you have been using the internet for a few years you'll likely know the protocols involved already.? Modules for Perl already exist to grab the data but not process it.
