Our server often has FTP connections that were not closed, and when they accumulate to a preset number (currently set to 40), new connections are refused. I need a PHP page ( or better solution ? ) that I can run at will to delete / close all the FTP connections that have been left open.
The existing data from the command prompt line :
ps auxwww|grep ftp
is as follows :
imagedis 7184 0.0 0.2 2980 1900 ? S 19:35 0:00 proftpd: imagedis - [login to view URL]: IDLE
imagedis 7263 0.0 0.2 2980 1900 ? S 19:37 0:00 proftpd: imagedis - [login to view URL]: IDLE
imagedis 7305 0.0 0.2 2980 1900 ? S 19:38 0:00 proftpd: imagedis - [login to view URL]: IDLE
The solution must be able to run on our server without additional components being installed.
