Fix outstanding issues with virtuemart site

New site having issues with product loading. Some products load properly and can be ordered. Some show an error code as follows: "404 The requested product does not exist" This is the case even though the settings for each product are the same. So, they should all work or not work....not some work and some not work. According to joomla forums, the issue likely is caused by the "multi language" setting in virtuemart. We have checked this and it seems properly set. Also, we are considering the addition of another language option for the site. In Joomla/VM administration, there is a Language manager in Extensions. In there, there appears to be pre-loaded language "packages" that can be clicked and installed - just about every language we could want. So, is this the method by which we could install another language option for the site and if so, we'd be interested in having this done also. FYI, we are running Joomla 2.5.9 and VM 2.0.14
