Currently, to insert a company listing, we have to login to Admin level, go to "Define Company" and add each listing one at a time.
We require someone to infuse our database with a bulk of entries via the back end. We will provide an Excel spreadsheet with all the fields completed, which needs to be inserted into our database. (see attached Excel spreadsheet example.
After insertion, it should be completely integrated into our site, meaning we will check the following:
1. It should appear on Admin level in the "Manage Company" page, and be completely editable, exactly the same as if we had added the entry individually via Admin. (see attached for screenshot)
2. It should appear in the front end searches (from homepage>Services search or Beheard search) and the listings should appear exactly as the other ones we had entered in individually. (see attached for screenshots)
The Excel spreadsheet we will provide will have approximately 2000 listings. We can change the spreadsheet as requested to include/exclude the entries which are needed (for example some fields are for the uploading of images--if necessary we can remove this column from the Excel spreadsheet. We are prepared to manually add the following field by ourselves, after the task is completed: Any images or upload files, "SECONDARY SUBURBS", "SECONDARY CATEGORIES", "SECONDARY SUBCATEGORIES **these fields are currently being added and may not appear right now)
