Security Expert needed for Linux/Windows Cluster

Are you an **expert in server ops and security?** Adept at **Linux as well as Windows?** We have an infected Linux/Joomla server in our colo rack. Our cluster of servers consists of 6 Linux + 2 Windows servers. We need assistance beginning today to clean up and restart. **Please only apply if you truly are a confident and knowledgeable expert in Linux & Windows server ops, able to assist hands-on and as a mentor to us. Tell us about yourself! We don't want to be inundated with form-letter messages from IT shops.** Of deep concern: Our multi-terabyte NAS storage (RAID array) shut down a few hours after we backed up and downloaded nearly all data as a precaution once we had discovered the malware. We're not sure if it was due to the malware, the load we added by moving loads of data, or just a freak coincidence. This bid is just to analyze the current situation and get our systems cleaned up. The long-term needs for better security and fail-over systems will be addressed with another bid. Please also note: following this bid we would like to also establish several long term relationships in the Americas, Europe, Russia, East Asia, and Australia or New Zealand for collaborative 24/7 monitoring of our Nagios alerts etc. We plan to pay $50/mo to simply be in a stand-by mode ready to restore servers in emergencies. We'd have some equitable arrangement for hourly help when such rare circumstances occur (paying in the form of RAC bonuses). ** Do NOT post a RAC "expert guarantee". ** It complicates the approval process, causes delay, and really doesn't matter to us. ## Deliverables This is a server ops/malware removal project.
