phpNuke

I am the webmaster for a non profit Australian community website, and the people in the community have recently said that they would like the website to have a portal. I am really only capable of html coding, and when I tried to install phpNuke, it didn't work at all, no matter what I did. I have MySQL, a Linux server, and all the other requirements, I just don't know where I'm going wrong. The problem at the moment is that when I try to go into it to see if it works once it's installed, it comes up with 'Redirection Error'. I don't know what this means, and I think it's just easier to get a pro to do it. I need someone to install phpNuke asap. No other complex tasks or anything, just a basic installation so I can see it working on my server so I can update the current website so it can accept memberships.
