HTML 5 Front, Mobile device database. SQL or ?? Backend This started out as our own spreadsheet and grew to large, we hired from freelancer to expand and make it better, though this change filled our immediate needs we need to get the program on more current technologies as it will grow again. HTML 5 Front End with a SQL express or whatever you feel is best for back end. Look at the spread sheet and what we had written. The current program is glitch and a pain to use plus we can’t take full advantage of the import option. This can run on one of our IIS servers and an existing SQL DB, Please be sure to have an install process for the DB and IIS. We will have over 400 devices in the next few months. Our old Spread sheet gave us most info we needed, the below program enhanced it but we lost lots of reporting. Also Import the existing data from ms access The below is what ever works best this is just a starting point. Web based front end: First screen to prompt for login, we can add logos and graphics after completed project. Users to be stored in DB Four user groups (ADMIN USER, SUPER USER, USER, VIEW) We will only have a few users but user logs in and only gets reports tab, reports will have options on admin screen which group can view Once logged in Each tab is viewable by user group rights. All linked by phone number no dashes and change date format to MM-DD-YYYY Import Tab imports standard data from ATT (Examples Attached) Our Field Options Tab Carrier Group 4 to 8 Digit Group Number plus description we can add to list for drop down options on users Device Type plus description Line Type plus description Department Number plus description Plus ability to set one as default Taxes and fees (tax percent and description) Fee amount and description Admin Tab Billing Tab (pick a month in the system) if any line has equipment or data over 1.1 GB show in list Review list Print billing statements. (Statement format to come later) Each device line will be a separate statement unless the line has overages and the child phone numbers have overages for that line then group on one statement. Statement will show any extra billing (not included in total and equipment purchased also not included in total) Bill will be host user and the child users showing total messages, and data used any line over 1.1 GB will be charged a fee plus tax (taxes and fees) so a line that used 2.1 GB will be charged $30 plus tax, a line using 1.1 will be charged $15 plus tax, 1.1 GB and below no extra cost basically $15 for every BG over 1.1. so 5 GB would be $60 plus tax Reports Tab To start 4 reports with this project more added at $50 a report when needed in future. All reports can pick billing date range reports to show most info can be printed exported to excel saved as PDF. Report 1 = Total bill amount by department. Any number not assigned to a department will auto add to default department Report will show total detail by department then give totals for detail, plus show a brake out at bottom of report listing numbers not assigned to department and there usages and costs. Report 2 = Option pick date range, Usage by department, or by user, or by line type, showing Data, min, messaging – Show overall totals Report 3 = report showing assigned numbers vs un assigned numbers in system Report 4 = pick date range, options by Dept, line type, user carrier group, limit options all info, over a gig, over 10 gig. User tab Option box show in billing yes or no, option is payroll deduct yes or no. Title, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Payroll Deduct Amount, and Notes. Like below program browsing through users you can see devices assigned to them. Device Tab Phone number, Employee (from Drop Down), USER/Owner, Model Type (from Drop Down) Capacity in GB, Version #, MAC Address, IP Address, IMEI #, Line Type (from Drop Down), Carrier Group (From Drop Down), Department (From Drop Down) Will get final data just before project completion.
