Stand-Alone application written in VB.NET (no exceptions) that will allow a user to drag icons representing network equipment onto a "drawing board" and then connect them with lines (using the mouse) to represent network links. The user must be able to click on each of the network elements to enter data such as name, description, etc. Also, the user must be able to click on a link and input which types of links occupy that link (ds3, oc3, etc). A line that represents a link must be able to store multiple link types. The user must be able to save these drawings and then reload them when needed. Finally, the application will print the network drawing and a report both to the screen and to the printer detailing the network element and link parameters entered for each icon by the users via a print button. The User should be able to print preview and change print options such as landscape/portrait etc. All stored data should be stored in an access database file located in the program directory. DO NOT store the data in an XML file. The source code must be THOUROUGHLY DOCUMENTED. Coders may contact me for project clarification if they need it. Just send any questions you may have.
