I'm looking for a solution to my LAN problem. The first individual to post a solution will receive payment of their bid request (maximum $15). I have TWO broadband connections and TWO networks. FIRST LAN: The first network uses a Belkin router/modem to dial-up. I use it for file sharing between four users and it uses the first broadband connection. People using it don't use the Net much, so one broadband connection is fine. SECOND LAN: The second network uses a LinkSys modem to dial-up. There are only a couple of computers connected to this LAN (both mine). As I use the Internet a lot, the broadband connection is all mine. PROBLEM: My PC automatically connects to both networks. HOWEVER it gets its Internet connection from the FIRST (which can be slow) and not the SECOND (my own!). How can I change it so that the Internet connection comes through my chosen LAN? NOTE: I have tried changing the default gateway on the first LAN connection to specify the gateway on the first. This occassionally seems to work... HOWEVER it also stops me browsing my network of computers, sharing files, etc. Windows XP Pro on EACH PC. How do I do it? First one with a winning answer gets their bid paid. Thanks for your time. Check my feedback -- serious buyer.
