Hello we have an app that was created on the cakePHP framework. it was created for us a long time ago and runs on an old versioon of cake php and sqlite. we are needing to do a couple of things. we first need to get this app updated to use the latest version of cakePHP, we also need the app to be migrated from sqlite to mysql an once those are done we need to create a front end for the app. lets consider our current app the backend of the system. what it does is payroll for a company. our company does entertainment events so in the new payroll page we first have to enter the event details sucha as event name, start date, end date and a couple of extra information, after we have to add dates worked for each employee. so how this works is that there is a list of all of our employees in the system and we have to select the employees and acording to the start date and end date provided before for the event we pick wich days the employee worked within that range. next we select the JOB the employee did, each job has a name and a default ammount that is populated into the ammoun field for the date. we do this for all employees and then we save the event. we do this for all events. on paydates a report is generated from a range of dates provided and generates a pay slip for each employee with all the events and dates they worked also some emplyees have fixed salaries the payslip generated adds the salary plus the dates worked there is also a way of adding dedutions and extra bonuses and also fixed salaries employees have a tax that has to be discounted on the second pay cycle of the month all this description is for you to nderstand whhat the system does as all this is already implemented. after the app has been updated we have to add some new functions: we need a user management with different user types. admin users will have access to the backed (what already exists) and each employee must have a username and password we need to add a front end for the systm where the user can naviaget to a url, enter his username and password and where the employee can see all the information regarding his payments. all dates worked for the current cycle, any deductions basically all the information that is generated on his payslip but in real time so he can see up to the moment what he has earned. at the end of the payment cycle once the admin generates all payslips the payments will be marked as processing. once the admin has completed payment via our banking system the admin must set the status of the event as paid and at that point we want our emplyees to recieve an SMS message ussing our twilio account with a notification that payment has been completed and his total amount earned douring the payment cycle. the payment cycle is 2 times a month. payments are generated on the 15th and 30h of each month once you read this description if you feel you understand the requirements and have the ability to complete this project i will send you a zip file with the app so you can better see how it is coded All communications and payments MUST be done via freelancer. absolutley no payments will be done outside of the milestone system. several milestones will be created and will only bre release after the work is completed and recieved and tested. onnce the project is completed the last milestone will be released 30 days after recieved so we can completley test and evaluate the work. after work is recieved and checked and aproved the last milestone will be released.
