Cannot Edit or Delete Select Wordpress Pages

I am unable to edit or delete some (but not all) of the pages on my wordpress site. If I try to edit the post in any way (change the parent, edit the content, etc) it does not actually change anything. If I try to delete the page, it does not go to the trash but it adds "__trashed" to the end of the permalink and the page stays live. The problem does not occur for other sites on this same server and does not even occur for all pages on this site. I have tried multiple browsers and cleared my cache. I am not using a caching plugin. I need the edit and delete page functionality restored.
